Savute - A Sea of Stripes
During the rainy season, Savute (sometimes spelled Savuti), a famous corner of Chobe National Park, hosts the annual zebra migration. Some of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Southern Africa are found in the Savute area.
Situated on the border of the Okavango Delta, the arid reaches of Savute are dramatically different to the rest of the Chobe National Park. After the summer rains, thousands of zebra form a thundering migration across the Savute.
